“Burlesque and Horrorbilly” with the Blackrats at Teazers

On Friday, May 17th.

Admission is $5.00 at the door with the show beginning at 9pm.

The Diligent River Community Hall will be holding a breakfast on Saturday, May 18th from 8 to 11 am.  

Menu includes eggs & bacon or pancakes & sausage.

Saturday, May 18th. Open Mic at 7PM at the Diligent River Community Hall.

 It’s the place to be on May 18^th. And 19^th.for a closer look

 at a little-known equestrian sport, Competitive Long Distance Riding.

The S.A.D. Ride offers two rides, 15 and 25 miles, each day, on well-marked woods roads and trails; sanctioned by the Atlantic Competitive Trail Riding Association.

Sponsored by local businesses, the rides can be entered by any participant with a properly prepared, fit, horse.

There will be an important meeting regarding the future of the Maccan Community Centre on Tuesday, May 21^st at 7 PM

Pick ”n” Grin, Taken By Surprise, The Shakedown Combo,

Hooligan’s Rough and ARHS Jazz Choir, will be there to entertain you.

Tickets are just $8.00 each and Available from The Fellas,

And at ATW Natural Health on Victoria Street in Amherst.

All proceeds are going to support local students to further

Their musical ambitions.

Registration is $200.00 per team and a ball.

All proceeds are going towards a mobile soup kitchen and a police dog for Amherst Police Department.

 There will be a concert of music at the First Baptist Church in Amherst 

On Sunday, May 26^th. At 7 pm.

Come out and enjoy music from the church choir, Phyllis Bird playing the violin and Kevin Dupuis on the organ and piano.

Everyone is welcome and admission is free.
